St John's Church Kirkland

Once a month the children meet in the church for children’s chapel with Fr Michael. Each month there is a theme, for example; Thanksgiving, St Francis, Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. Songs are sung, a story is told in which the children participate in some way, prayers are said and blessings are given.

 

This is an opportunity for the children to experience our Episcopal traditions and practices. Parents are most welcome to attend chapel with their children. Chapel is held at the beginning of the school day for this reason.

Chapel dates and times will be posted outside the children’s classrooms.
